Kristy Black is the owner of Idea Creative, with over 20 years experience in public affairs, design, marketing and communications. Kristy started her “advertising and marketing life” as a digital editor, videographer a copywriter for a national direct response marketing company where she was in charge of everything from editing to directing, producing, lighting, and shooting—a position that encompassed all the aspects of commercial TV production.  While there she learned everything from web design to 3D animation as well as the in’s and out’s of media placement and negotiation. From there she took a position as the head of marketing at a continuing education company (The Productivity Institute).  While in charge of the creation and implementation of web and marketing materials, Kristy had the opportunity to teach classes for HTML, Java, as well as the entire suite of Adobe products. Kristy provides extensive experience in: marketing, graphic and web design, creative direction, printing, media representation, and media placement. In the time since she has also worked with promo and event marketing, along with traditional and digital advertising placement and design.
